The project is located on two separate plots in close proximity to each other; one for the embassy building and the second for the ambassador residence.
The design concept, of both buildings, is inspired by the local Bahraini architecture as evident in the courtyard layout, massing and facade articulation. It aims to ensure stately identity in a creative manner by balancing between tradition and modernity, and between old forms and new technologies. Hence the design establishes an identifiable landmark where the ingredients of simplicity and novelty are logically synthesized.
However, each building forms an architectural statement that elegantly expresses itself in terms of building function and its relation to surroundings.
