College of Engineering – University of Bahrain. Sakhir Campus, Kingdom of Bahrain

On Thursday, September 15th 2022, a progress meeting was held between the University of Bahrain and the Gulf House Engineering team to discuss the latest progress of the project including the development of the interior design.

Gulf House Engineering, teaming up with Tange Associates – Japan, is proud to be commissioned by the Ministry of Works as the Lead Consultant of the state-of-the-art College of Engineering at the Sakhir Campus of the University of Bahrain. This academic project covers a plot 251,705 sqm with an estimated constructed area of 58,848 sqm, and is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2025.

The College of Engineering will include the Departments of Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical and Civil Engineering, as well as Architecture and Interior. These departments will be supported by appropriate Workshops, Labs, Multi-purpose and Jury Halls, Auditorium, Library and Food-court. A master plan has been developed taking into account future accessibility and provision of ample parking spaces, as well as University’s future expansion.
