The project comprises of two plots, the North plot with an area of 7,421 sq.m and the South seaside plot with an area of 13,238 sq.m, adjacent to Bahrain’s traditional dhow boating area. They are located on the two sides of Khalifa Al Kabeer highway in Muharraq that leads to Bahrain International Airport.

The North plot is proposed to be used as a parking building with a retail component and sufficient public open spaces totalling a built-up area is 15,720 sq.m. The South seaside plot is proposed to house a maritime museum, F&B units, and a boutique hotel. The total built-up area is 7,050 sq.m.

The functions of the two plots complement each other in a mutually supportive manner and connected by a pedestrian bridge making the movements in between an interesting journey.

The design of the bridge is inspired by the fishing net reference to the strong relation of Bahraini culture with the sea. The net is molded and curved that is functional and aesthetically pleasing and symbolically meaningful.
