Located at the main entrance of Diyar Muharraq on a plot of 18,000 sq.m. The total area of the project is 2,200 sq.m with an open sahan of 400 sq.m.

Besides its religious significance and prime location, the mosque has historical and cultural significance by being named after the late Amir Sheikh Isa Bin Salman Al Khalifa.

It accommodates praying halls for men & women, a majlis, a library, and imam & mu’azin residences in addition to all support service facilities. The mosque accommodates 800 worshippers internally & the number would increase to 1,200 persons if the Sahn if used during Fridays and special events.

The mosque in its architectural elements, ornamentations, massing, and dome with its internal solid and external perforated skins incorporates lighting in between; encourages contemplation of the divine unity, an important pillar of Islam.
